Woot I can pay for my gf again thanks SE :)

I'm still hoping that they will release some sort of physically purchasable Crysta card, since I don't use paypal the GTCs cost more than my sub for two months. Also, I have an extra retainer, I'd think SE would like to keep that extra money each month. At least it is a step in the right direction.

Isn't this just the same time cards that have already existed before?

That's nowhere near good enough. can't pay for retainers, fantasia, server transfers or whatever else they come up with down the line with this.

They may be the same Time Cards yes, but not everyone lived near a gamestop or Eb Games or a dept store that offered them, so this is very beneficial.
Unfortunately you are correct that they wont help with retainers/fantasia/transfers, but at least you can still play since UltimatePay is no longer an option for many of us.

I bought a few extra Ultimate Pay cards since SE is never very fast on fixing things, but I am not doing to pay more per month for my sub then my legacy sub price. So I really do hope that they come up with some way to actually purchase Crysta, since that would fix all these problems.

Yeah I hope they realize this isn't a real solution for everyone, they should try to launch a sort of digital crysta card.

Hell, not everyone's nearest Gamestop/Wal-mart/Target/whatever even carries the cards. Nearest Gamestops, Wal-mart, Target to me is 7 miles and the only pre-paid game time card that they sell are for World of Warcraft.

I also wish that I didn't have to upgrade my account to a standard account every time I want to redeem a pre-paid game time card for this game.

Buuuut, it is a start. I'd love to see Crysta cards, but I suspect that even if they were to be made, they wouldn't be available in my area.

These timecards have been around since like March on SE official store and Amazon.
