Mouse becoming invisible PC while on controller mode.

Here's a scenario that makes your mouse turn "invisible"

Turn on controller mode on PC from character configuration. Then move your mouse to click on the chatbox. Alakazam, your mouse disappears, but it doesn't disappear completely. If you try to move the mouse over the buttons, the buttons still get highlighted as if the mouse was still there, but it doesn't reappear until you finish typing by pushing enter or clicking off the chatbox.

Is this intended or a bug? I think this started happening after the most recent patch, or at least I didn't notice this before.
