Biased Roulettes and Music

I don't know if I'm the only unlucky guy who has this issue, but every day duty roulette chooses the exact same places almost without fail.

Some roulette have more instances than others, but even if they had 3, the game should remember which one you did the day before, and just choose among others. This way you're never going to end up in the exact same instance every day.

This is not a roulette, it's a selective system that somehow chooses some instances more than others, I don't know, I think this needs to be fixed.

Another thing (Forgive me if this already exists) is dungeon music. How come they have sometimes these incredible soundtracks at the start and then we have to listen to the monotonous battle music through the entire thing? Can't we just switch battle music off and enjoy the soundtrack instead? {Can I have it?} :)

I think even more DF should be fixed again to open to more servers in one group.

Because people for various reasons choose to run some content more than others. Pretty simple. It is not designed to give you a random equal chance at all content. It is designed to help others get groups for specific content they choose.

Roulette is almost never randomly selecting a duty, since there's almost always someone queuing for something specific that they need for whatever reason (quest, relic, etc.). You're filling in spots for people queuing for what they need, which is what Roulette is for: making sure players can get into & through whatever duty even when it'd otherwise be dead.

In the cases where everyone in your party is also there through roulette (rare if you're not queuing as a full party), keep in mind that each duty only has so many instances available. (Remember back when you could queue for AK/WP and wait for 30-60 minutes after the party was fully formed just for an instance to open up?) If you're all in roulette, it's not going to stick you in something with no open instances, so even when it's random, that random selection is culled down to some degree.

Didn't they say they were going to implement a toggle so you could deactivate the battle music and just play the dungeon theme throughout? That said, while it's not a perfect solution you do always have the option to mute XIV's BGM and supply your own. Sometimes I even load up a TeamFourStar video if I'm in a dungeon I don't particularly like, to take the edge off. (AK, I'm lookin' at you. >>)

As regards your other question, basically roulette assigns you not to a random dungeon, but rather to a random DF party within that set of dungeons. So if most people are queueing for, say, Pharos Sirius, you'll be more likely to get that.
