• Hyped up to insurmountable heights
• When eventually released, the end result inevitably failed to live up to the hype and caused backlash all around

Now let's look at Personal Housing

Notice a pattern? Now Ninja so far?

• Teased Early on: As early as Through the Maelstrom
• Hyped up: (Will Ninja steal? Are the weapons good? will Ninja be amazing)

Now that we got that across, My prediction of Ninja is that once it's released. It will fail to live to to people expectations and will cause backlash all around.


The lesson: Don't get your hopes up for a piece of content that gets hyped. it will inevitably be overhyped and fail to please the fans

Right now I'm counting the features that were implemented in 2.3 (since I do now know of the reception and hype of Arcanist at the time and Musketeer isn't confirmed to be implemented soon)

Also, as a point of order, they showed off actual gameplay of Ninja, which received a fairly positive response. We have a quite solid basis for what Ninja will and won't be. There are a lot of holes yet to be filled in, but unlike the two systems you mentioned above, we have hard, tangible evidence that Ninja is quite thoroughly baked.
