Theme park & the inexperienced devs are the root of problem

One year ago, some XI/1.23 players had already pointed out that ARR is too shallow & it lacks the longevity.

Hunts/game content complaints:
Some people want to play this game seriously,but SE handout gears like candies,
and content are shallow faceroll.

Atma/Novus/housing complaints:
Because people are not going to invest money & time on a theme park single player dungeon co-op game

leave the /slap to yourself SE

I agree that gear should be harder to get while non-battle content should be easier.

I also feel the economy needs a lot of work if they are going to gate things through gil, because at the moment there is little that one needs to purchase on the markets in order to play this game, especially if you are more interested in battle than cosmetics.

EDIT: Disagree regarding the game being too shallow overall, though, or lacking in longevity. These things come in different ways.

Which is a horrible argument to make since that statement is very contradictory "single player co-op"? Co-Op requires a collective of peoples last time I checked ^^;

Well if those players say so, I guess I'm just going to have to hang it up then. I thank them for pointing out that I wasn't having any fun playing the game, what was I thinking.

It's funny though, a lot of the so-called inexperienced devs that worked on ARR also worked on XI and the original XIV...
