Eorzeans homeless

When they first launch the housing, nobody could afford it and they explained it's for FC.

Now they launch personal housing, but the pricing and availability means most Eorzeans will remain homeless for god knows how long...

even like yoshi-p said, the amount of available ward will be doubled from now by 2.4, that means only 6 to 8 additional wards. the total amount of land available land will be 30x3x8=720, let's just make it 800 counting current unsold lots.

now how many players are there per server?

there are now about 3mil subscribers including the chinese no? what about spending part of our subscription fees for some serious hardware upgrade?

I agree totally. I cannot believe they repeated the EXACT. SAME. MISTAKE. As with FC housing. What an insult.

Considering they said on multiple occasions that personal housing would be less than FC housing (inital estimates around 800k), i don't think people anticipated this to happen, therefore didn't bust their ass to sit on that much cash.

Whats wrong with you all going and joining someone with a house and paying for a private room?

If you have tons of members why not have everyone chip in and buy a house instead of getting mad?

They had the exact same assets and the exact same zones to work with. Only way I would see them honoring the 850K price would be them making brand new wards that were exclusive to player housing. That sort of destroys the point of housing for FCs since you have individuals paying much less money for a house the exact same size as the one their FC shelled out millions of gil for.

I'll admit they could have copy/pasted the wards as they currently are to make said new wards, but that leaves the issue of the servers. Something tells me they discovered the servers would implode if the supposed hundreds of thousands of people who play this game were to have a house each. Combine that with limited real estate space in wards and there's a pretty big issue to deal with.

I spent my money on my novus. I'm back at 2.5mil. Just 85mil to go.
