Server question
I'd like some input on other servers other than Jenova. I feel that this server is dying out and becoming rather robotic/stagnant. I think a huge reason why is Jenova is really ran by a few rather large free companies and if you don't belong you're on your own or everyone is in ps4 chat. Player to player interactions also seem like they have dropped off the map, either you talk to your free company, link shell or to no one at all. The only place where I feel like there is a community is in Mor Dhona and that's if people aren't shouting for the turns. The only time I ever see this server do anything is during hunts, then about 50% of the time it's people complaining about early pulls.
So I guess you can say I'm looking for a new more community active server with fun people, I'm pretty well geared being a end game bard with a even 100 item lv. So my knowledge on end game is there if any servers discriminate against player skill/knowledge.

Jenova looks like the least populated server, atleast right now it does. Malboro seems to have a good mix, more active during the evenings Eastern time. Depending where I am you'll see some conversation going on, or atleast start your own. Most of the time if you shout out someone will answer you, may not like the answer, but they're alive anyways.
Don't know much about the FC's as I am not in one. But there are plenty, always getting the random invite. Sometimes asked why I am not in a FC. So people will spark up conversation.

Balmung, Ragnarok are pretty good. Make sure you pay the 14 USD fee to transfer, or else you're going no where :P

It's unfortunate what happened to Jenova. It was really fun when the game launched, but after that everyone just seemed to only interaction with their fc or friends only. I've stood around in all the cities synthesizing random stuff for a good time of the day and all you seen in the chat log was Gil spammers. I'm in the Midwest though but timezones really don't bother me.

Balmung is full of people, and a lot of chatterboxes. While you will find tons of Roleplayers in the taverns doign their thing (you pretty much gotta change your chat channel to not get bogged down with 3 paragraph long description emotes), you will find a lot of people making random comments and shouting in towns and helping out and other things. I don't normally stick to the general chat, but it can be fun at times. Lot of activity, enough for new accounts to have trouble getting made in the server. We have some big FCs, but those are just the end game only types. A lot of medium and smaller anybody activity types are around.

Can definitely vouch for Balmung.
Transferred from a different server myself because I wanted to be able to PUG endgame content without having to commit to statics, which is not an issue on Balmung.
People don't mind helping out each other here, and the majority are pretty respectful. I'm slowly trying to convince my friends on the other server to transfer, too.
This is a server that you can log into when you have some time to kill, and actually get some stuff done (PF is almost always active with Primal/SCOB raiding).
