Player Generated events!

Was just talking about this in my FC, but it would be kind of cool if, through some kind of application process, FCs of sufficient size could run events that reward loot, myth, Soldiery, and other types of things via the game itself instead of having to do it round-about through having someone make the items or what not. They could make it so that the guild has to build up currency or something in order to pay for an application as well in order to prevent it turning into a spam fest. Anyone else have thoughts? ;)
