DQ Quest - Where to get slime earings

Just looking at the Database and I found this slime earrings. I checked the DQ quest but only gives the crown. Anyone know where to get this?

I have a hunch that they may be a promotional item and are not intended for this event. Perhaps they'll be obtainable with a serial code included with some sort of Dragon Quest product in Japan.

Maybe a reward for a future screenshot event.

I hope they say something i would love these. I wonder if they are part of this current event, has anyone tried doing the event to see if they are rare drops or something.

The game files indicate(at least from what xivdb has gathered) that they are sold by the same moogle that sold the Cactuar and Bomb Earrings. So most likely an out of game event.

If that's the case I'm thinking these will be released during TGS when they hold that Ramuh event. Everytime Ramuh is defeated a realm gets a rare dodo earring so I wonder if the slime earrings will be there as well because last time it was the cactuar earrings but they also offered bomb earrings as well.

My guess we will get a event for Dragon Quest Heroes http://youtu.be/KtkuNrzv7WM seeing as how it's being made for ps4 and ps3^^

Thanks for the responses guys. That's my guess too a promotional event. At least I know we did not miss on something provided in game. I'd love to have these, hopefully we have a way to get one.

This could be true, 2.3 recently came out I believe, and 3.0 should be coming out soon in Japan as well as the next expansion. or it's already out

I thought that maybe it was going to be for the Ramuh Challenge at the Tokyo Game Show, but I looked up the article and saw that only the cactuar and dodo earrings will be available for that.
