Do I have to creat a new character again because of the server??

I started this game from yesterday.

Honestly, I have never played mmorpg before as my interest was only for single games on PS3.

Since I am living in Aus, I didn't have any idea about which server I have to choose.

I tried JP server, however it seems like there is no space for the new gamers.

Instead, I selected Cerberus in EU server.

Found out that people are nice and kind of me as giving me some money and swords.


But...I am concerned about the time differences between Europian countries and here Australia.

...Do I have to re-start the game?? I have already leved up to 4, spending almost 3 hours.

What server you play on is up to you - the JP servers are closer to Australia naturally so time differences are not as bad as the NA/EU servers. But as they naturally have a much larger JP player base communication can be an issue, although a lot of JP players do understand English.

I'm Australian too (Perth, WA) and I play on a JP server with no real problems. But if you're happy enough on Cerberus then it might be better to stay with a NA/EU server instead of changing, especially if you've already made friends there :). You can actually move your existing character to another server too, but it's a paid service that costs money to do so.

I wanted to create the new one in Tonberry, but the server was closed.

So, I made one in Atomos just now and played for 2 hours.

I am not sure whether there are many aussie/English speakers in this server. However, no one talked to me and paid any attention. And the population seems almost similar to Ceberus.

I think... I'd better level up alone for a while until a FC contacts me.

Anyway, the game is so fun! :) haha

Try to create a character on Tonberry early in the morning, you should be able to.
