The empires most wanted

Seeing how the aggression from the empire is starting up and beginning to hit its stride. I had a bit of a wacky idea. What if the empire started to get really angry with adventurers to the point of branding us as "war criminals" and "priority targets".

now i realise at the moment Imperials only show up during the raids on the r20 camps, in side quests, and the small group's in the darkhold but i have a feeling as time goes on this will change. Now what if with each successive victory a player gains against garlian forces they get bumped up a bit on a server wide "Most wanted list".

Get your self high enough on the list and you get a big fat target panted on your back and would have to deal with Imperial bounty hunters tracking you down. Work your way up to the top of the list and may the gods have mercy on your soul, as the imps launch an attack force with the express reason of taking out there #1 target.

Now i know you're saying "But Griss this just sounds like it would turn the people high on the list into hermits, not to mention instilling all kinds of fear and paranoia into them." Or "well that's cool and all but whats in it for me. I don't mind busting imperial skull but i want to get something out of it."

Got to admit haven't really thought that part out yet. Perhaps some Gil rewards from the home city states for sticking it repeatedly to the enemy. maby Imperial gadgets and dodads could drop from the attackers, you could turn these into your Grand company or directly to the iron works in return for seals. Perhaps having a chance to gain pieces of garlian armor and weaponry as loot.


though to be honest if the imperial's continue to hit camps like they are i would love to see the chance of garlian tech and equipment being dropped by the attackers. I would love to have a set of that plate armor the centurions sport.
