Ixali Trader Issue

The Ixali Trader considers me (Respected) even though I am (Honored). I can not buy any of the things I should be able to at this point...

New shop stuff is at ranks 1/3/5/7. Nothing new at even numbers for Ixal.

should it not still respond as my current rank or is this just going to be an issue next rank then?

Even though the Ixal quests have more overall ranks, the number of "shop" ranks is the same as all the other beast tribes which is 4. As stated by Seravi above, you get more stuff to buy every 2 ranks. It's not an issue, it's a design choice. The next level you unlock will have increased wares for sale.
