Two Complaints from lower level players

I have some complaints to share about the low levels being ignored in this game financially.

1.) The loot sells for 1 gil each? Yeah combat RMT, but you're screwing low level players who don't have retainers yet. Most people don't /shout for items in Ul'dah/Gridania or Limsa, they just check the market boards. Can there be a reasonable exchange rate for loot/gil? You're not combatting RMT, you're just screwing over the honest player.

(Ok it went over 2, my fault.)

2.) The Forum. I had to level up over lvl 25 to just be able to post this message. I have a huge problem with how the low level community cannot submit their own feedback. We have opinions too, and some of these opinions pertain to the fact that you're pretty much broke with no actual income (Questing does not generate an income that can compete with the price gougers that are crafters at times.) That is absurd. I think FFXIV's feedback should be readily available for submission by the community, not just players who are over lvl 25-ish. That's not a good image you're painting, as I've been trying in vain to post this for the longest time.

3.) A 1000 character limit on forum posts? That's just...wow...

4.) The connection issues. I'm hooked up to a University's network currently, and I keep getting the same 90000 error code when I disconnect. I get disconnected constantly while at home, my aunt's home, and finally at my job. I don't think it's my internet that is the problem, and I'm really irked that the Japanese playerbase has 3 data servers when the NA has only 2 despite being larger population-wise, and EU? Only 1?

The game should support you just fine with allagan bronze/silver pieces to trade to NPCs from your quests (not to mention gil rewards from quests themselves) till 20-21, which when you get your retainer in the storyline.

The forums I agree with but it hasn't changed for a long time so I doubt they will by now, and if you go back and edit your post, you can go past the 1000 character limit

You can edit your first post to by pass the character limit. Agreed it's annoying but that's how it is I guess.

Actually the limit is new with ARR, didn't exist in 1.0.

As for items going for 1 gil. They are really worth 1 gil. And if they sit there on the MB and people are not buying them, you think they are really worth more than 1 gil? Level 20 unlocks retainers. It doesn't take long to get there.

1). There is a difference on the economic impact when you sell to a player vs an NPC, since an NPC just prints you money right there. If you have too many ways to decently print money the economy will get wacky, SE probably made it very low so they can easily manage the ways to purposefully print money

2). Probably to prevent trolls who just want to flame; however, there is a way to suggest ideas within the game itself through the menu and going to the help desk page. They have posting limits even if you are level 50 btw. Also to ensure players have an idea of the game before going wild? I don't see this rule really being needed but SE put it in for some reason, maybe GMs were tired of seeing too many of my posts.. :P

3). Edit your post and you can go over the 1000 character limit :D, I know it is annoying lol. Make sure to copy paste it, then cut it down, and edit paste it back up. Becareful not to lose your paste or you will look silly till you rewrite your edit XD

Edit a post and you can go over the thousand char limit. Its just the initial post that's actually limited to the thousand char.

On your second point. WTF?? I had no idea! I hadn't acknowledged the forums until I played the game for many, many months and was lvl 50 in many classes. Forum probation until lvl 25, lmao... THAT's CRAZY STUPID. SE should really reconsider this
