This is more or less a prototype, to make sure I've got the process right and see if I can get the page binding down. Still not sure what kind of design I want to do on the outer cover.

It'll be a bit of slow going at the moment; I'm trying to file down the hinges so it'll actually fit together before I start drilling for the pins.

Not quite as smooth as it could be, but it'll have leather over the top of it at the end, so there's that. About the only thing left to do for the wood is drill for the pins.
Good luck! I hope it's not too heavy either. I might make a book for fan fest instead of a staff(too hard to take on a plane).
