Freezing issues on Brynhildr

I've been playing FFXIV on the PS3 on Brynhildr and have had strange freezing issues where my character would go to pick up a quest, talk to an npc, pick up quest items off the ground or just fight a monster; It would freeze my character into place and not bring up the menu's or talk to the NPC's for 1-3 minutes depending on what's going on. I don't know if anyone else is having this problem or not, or if it's the server I'm on... It's making the gameplay not very enjoyable. No one else freezes around me, they can run- come and go as they please and continue fighting monsters, yet I'm stuck in place with the menu not popping up. I reinstalled the game and patched it off the PSN store when I thought this was the issue. Lowered the graphics to not show me magical/intense attacks to see if it would load better. I have high speed cable (60 MBPS for download)

Any suggestions on how to fix this issue? Is it a server issue?
