FC Promotion/Demotion setting allows player to promote themselves to a higher rank

The setting for Promotion/Demotion allows a player in any rank with the permission to promote themselves to any rank higher than their current rank excluding Master. This is a serious design flaw, no other guild system with a rank hierarchy would allow something like this. I wasn't aware of it until tonight when I logged in to find out that an officer had promoted himself to a rank higher than his own rank and ripped off half our FC Chest before quitting the FC (an event which I'm still trying to figure out how to get any resolution for).

This was already discussed several times here in forums and according to reply from devs / community reps it's working as intended to allow promoting of FC memebers in case "top management" will leave the game to be able to regain controll of the FC.
