Hello, I'm new around here, so bear with me.
I was just wondering if anyone here knows where I can get my hands on that sound that plays when your quest has been updated. I.e., the one that plays when you've collected that last item, talked to that last NPC, and a blue check mark appears onscreen to accompany the sound.
If there's a thread like to already, I apologize. If y'all could point me in the proper direction, that'd be awesome too.

You mean that 'ding' sound effect? I don't think any of the sound effects from the game have been released officially by SE sadly. There's none included with the soundtrack albums in any event.

Go to the little buttons and select "Smartphone Ringtones", then download the zip file and listen to them. I think what you're looking for is the sound with name "FFXIV_Obtain_Item" in that zipped file.
