I've "had that item before" item request.

To the Dev's, is there any way you can show it that our characters has had an obtainable item (whether it is materials, armor, weapons, or tools) before in our inventory and Armory Chest? The reason I'm asking is that there has always been a time where one of us has thought "Have I obtained that item before?" but we are not quite sure. Sometimes I wonder if I had obtained an item before and had it in my inventory (such as crafting materials), but I have to trace online on a FFXIV: ARR database just to see where I could have gotten that item before.

So is there a way that the items in question could have a different text color to show that we have obtained that item before on our character? I know that it may sound so ridiculous and a VERY hard task to do, but it would be somewhat helpful.
