Translated Area Names

Earlier today, I was playing translator for a two-language group. My Japanese isn't great, but it's better than nothing.

I ran into a problem where I couldn't get the auto-translator to spit out the names of cities and other areas. The [places] entry in the auto-translator menu came up with just The Thousand Maws of Toto-Rak.

Has anyone else run into this problem and know a fix?

Does anyone know the Japanese names for the three major cities (Ul'dah, Limsa Lominsa, Gridania) in case I have to type them manually?

Not sure if you have some bad files or something.

Try using the auto-complete side of it. If you type Ul then hit tab, it should give you the option to translate Ul'dah. Same thing for the other cities.

I'd also like to know how to fix that problem though. It only seems to spit out places that you've recently interacted with somehow...with no way to find them otherwise.

The auto translate feature as of now only will give you places you been to in that day, you go to the Maws of Toto Rak and that will appear afterwards, if you go to Gridania it will appear afterwards, its actually rather inconvenient. >.<

We often abbreviate the names too:

ウル - Ul'dah
リムサ - Limsa Lominsa
グリ - Gridania

Toto-Rak - トトラク
Dzemael Darkhold - ゼーメル
