Can We please get a definitive list on how to solo, duo, trio, etc...?

I was wondering how many levels I need to aim for above my level solo. Is it ten over your level at best? Also, How many levels above the other combinations for obtaining maximum non leve sp? Two people still need to go for ten ranks higher? What is max non leve sp? and how do you get it? I guess are my main questions. It's confusing as is, need a guide here so can stop killing way to hard mobs for next to nothing. Apologies if this is common knowledge.

All mobs* 10+ ranks higher than you will give you the same amount of SP, because the "difficulty" bonus hit its limit. This limit has nothing to do with the amount of party members.

There was a list somewhere that showed how much %exp of the original amount you get depending on your party's size. I don't know where you can find it, but I know that a duo party still gets 100% exp.

*I mean same types of mobs, like all buzzards will give you 300sp, but efts could give 500sp.

I am looking for like mainly a leveling list. No one seems to have a complete one. Maybe not camps and such but if reps can just tell us some info on how many levels above our ranks we should aim for in what situations.

If we are solo How many ranks above our character do we try to kill for max sp? and I guess does mob type matter?
If duo...?
etc?

If I am 32 what rank should I kill to get the most solo exp? What about trying to PL my gf? She is 24 and I am 32. Sometimes in pt she gets a lot of sp sometimes next to nothing for mobs way to high. I see there is a cap so I just want to know how it all plays out in plain english lol. Spent a large amount of time trying the PL issue any info on that would be much appreciated. I <3 to help my friends.

I just want to be able to not kill a mob get almost 200 then kill a harder one for less. It's kinda weird lol.

Ehm. That's called gaming experience, and I think you should find out for yourself. Exploring different regions and testing different mobs to see how much sp they give compared to others is part of the (little) fun this game offers at the moment.

I disagree. I have been trying all day and can't seem to find any rhyme or reason to it. A simple answer of: if you are solo aim for ** levels higher than you is not too much to ask i dont believe. I am wondering if the 5 level gap in party members has a large effect? Also, If solo ** levels above you gives best sp? Thats all ^^

Freia's right. The max SP bonus is set at 10 levels. You'll get the same SP for killing a dodo that's 10 levels above you or 30 levels above you.

Janglo, you might have gotten a different amount of SP, but there are other factors at play.

1) Different mobs have a different "base" SP. For example, raptors and ahrimans have a "base" SP value of 150 SP per mob. On the other hand, coblyns and puks have a "base" SP of 63 per mob. So killing a colbyn that's 10 levels above you gives less SP than killing a raptor that's 10 levels above you.

2) Your party size impacts the amount of SP you get. Like Freia said, if you solo or duo, you'll get 100% of the SP per mob. If you trio, as long as everyone in your party is within +5/-10 levels of you, you'll get 90% of the SP per mob. With 4 people in your party, as long as everyone is within +5/-10, you'll get 85%. Etc. So you could have received a different amount of SP based on your party size, or the levels of people within your party.

3) At lower levels, you get a bonus to the amount of SP you get per mob. Up through level 23, they take the SP you get from the mob, and they multiply it by some number. Between levels 1-6, they multiply it by 4.0. That number drops until you get to level 24, when you get the base SP (in other words, they multiply the SP by 1.0). So you could have received a different amount of SP based on your level.
