Stat redistribution is ridiculous

I started playing for the first time in about a month now to enjoy 1.18, this being the first chance I've had to play in awhile. Logging on and expecting to test the new battle system and try the first of the 2 raids, I instead spent literally ALL DAY doing nothing but resetting my stats. Spec'd as an archer, I wanted to switch to thaum (my only 30+ class). It took all day for the cooldown to wear off before I could transfer every point, and now I'm heading to bed without a single second of playtime

What is the point of touting the armory system as the games selling point if you can't actually use it? Hell, switching classes in XI was less cumbersome than this. I simply can't fathom why you can't adjust stats whenever/adjust ALL points every 30 minutes or so. This seems like a 5 minute fix, simply changing the cooldown variable to 0. Problem solved.

I understand they plan to alter the physical level/stat system eventually, but that's no excuse for having to deal with something as cumbersome as this.

1.19 is fixing this

If only the stats were really "That" important to be speced specifically right now. If your going to play multiple classes currently you may as well have a midling stat tree as going too high in any area seems to have little return in the long run until they tweak the stats.

you don't need at actually respec completely to play your job...

the game didn't waste your time. you did.

More like next major patch they're removing it completely.

I hope you know that stats are broken and only VIT and MND seem to actually make a difference. But yeah, 1.19 will fix this...no more physical levels. Stats will be based on rank now....which might get renamed to level and SP might get renamed to EXP. 1.19 is scheduled to come out at the end of August.

Yep VIT and MND are the Noticable Ones. STR does work to a Degree, I dont know hat the heck PIE suppose to do, INT does work for Mages ( to a degree), most of the stats only help to a point thats it.

1.19 will shed light of this and end of August seems to be the Ideal month of Release for it

PIE is quite significant for DoT dmg. It is 10 pie for 1 extra dmg per tick.

I agree, basically just get a decent amount of VIT and MND, learn a cure spell or two, and wait for 1.19...
