Probably the wrong board, probably there's a topic already...so my apologies in advance.
I want a dalamud red chocobo.
I know how many and which fruits to feed him.
My question is:
Can I feed him ALL the fruits at once, regardless of the "growing new feathers" message?
If not, how do I do it exactly? What if I run out of apples and haven't gotten the message, do I continue with the next fruit?
I really just don't get it...
Well you could theoretically feed them all in one sitting, but due to the slightly RNG nature of the fruits (speaking of which, there's no way for you to know exactly how many of each fruit it will take) I would suggest going piecemeal so if you stray off the path it's easier to fix. I personally fed him a bunch of apples and after several proc messages I'd wait and see what he changed to before moving on. If he fell short of blood red I'd feed him more apples until I got more color procs, rinse and repeat till he was the color I wanted. Then after he was Blood Red I did the same thing with berries until he turned Dalamud.
