I know that, with the two 'RP Servers' where people have decided to gather on being Gilgamesh and Balamung, overcrowding is a serious issue for new Rpers looking to get into the game. So I'm putting forth an idea of a community idea of a third unofficial RP server out there to see if anyone thinks it could work.
Ideas? Good idea, bad idea arguments? Server reccomendations? ( Personally, I'm on Siren, so it's got my vote as I'm part of an RP community there )
I've seen hints of FC's and LS's on the Leviathan server. But I haven't seen any actual RP going on yet.
You can get into Balmung at around 4pm or 5pm Eastern.
Necroing this thread, because there's a new RP friendly FC in place on Siren! Neo NOAH; it's just what it sounds like. NOAH, being a group of people from all walks of life in-game, was snagged as a VERY basic premise to make a roleplay FC shell. Check them out! The player Alistair Fry is their leader :)
It's hard to say about another Rp server when no one's willing to change servers on the ones you do have... I have however been working hard to promote the RP community on Brynhildr as I run an RP linkshell and free company. FC is Uncharted Trails <Nomad> and our forum unchartedtrails.enjin.com is meant to be an off game information storage hub
I also wonder if it might be a good idea to make a thread to list all the currently active RP groups across all servers, so that players can both advertise their groups and see that there are other communities outside of the more crowded servers. Part of the problem is that Balmung and Gilgamesh are the only active RP communities that most people know about.
I also agree about designating a less crowded server and trying to grow an RP community there.
for being the 2nd unofficial rp server, gilgamesh sure doesnt feel like it
