Audio Endpoint changes are not supported.

This is not so much a bug report, so i will refrain from using that template.

This title utilises XAudio, which when utilised on Vista and 7 can support the changing of the mapped audio endpoint. This could be anything from plugging in a usb headset, to changing the default audio device from a 3.5mm stereo connection to a hdmi audio device.

At the present, if a user plugs in a usb headset or changes the default playback device, the sound is not directed through the new device, and in many cases is entirely lost requiring restart of the game client.

Resolving this requires utilisation of the IMMNotificationClient interface

FFXIV:ARR is the only title i have seen using XAudio that does not use this interface to support detection of new audio devices in some time.
