Thavnairian Onion not working correctly

Time: August 30-September 1st

Area and coordinates: Lavender Beds (13,11) Ward 1
Steps:
1. Selected Fury in the Chocobo Stables interface. Fury was at rank 12 with 2 stars.
2. Selected "Yes" at the "Further training.
3. Selected a Thavnairian Onion as the training reward.
4. Fury consumed the Thavnairian Onion but Furys rank cap was not increased.


I don't Have the exact time because I submited an in game ticket at the time and figured that would be enough. There was no way to figure out when I sent the ticket so couldn't get the time.

I have recently run into the same problem, my chocobo has reached the capp @ rnk 11 , i feed him a thav onion , and got the msg Tails cannot earn EXP now, my chocobo alrdy had his name in gold and 2 stars next to his name...what is going on?!?!?! i paid 1.4mill for this damn onion :mad:0

Steps:
1. purchased thavnairian onion went to my FC's stables
2. Selected Tend to specific chocobo >> selected my chocobo "tails" a prompt window appeared and notified me that no further exp will be gained through training
3. i confirmed and used the thavnairian onion as a reward, after the trainning C/s i received a msg in red saying "Tails cannot Earn EXP now" i double checked my inventory and my thavnairian onion was gone.
*my chocobo's Rank number was ( still is orange) and is still currently @ rank 11*
Things to note:
My chocobo was and still is, in the 6hr window for color change could this be the cause of the thavnairian onion to not take effect?
