Group of friends looking for an FC!

Hello Balmung. Two friends and I have recently returned to the game and are in search of a free company to call home. We're basically looking for a tight knit group of people to enjoy the game with.

Here is our checklist of sorts:

- Active in PvE content. We consider ourselves medium-core, we would eventually like to become involved in raiding. Two of us are able to heal or tank depending on the situation.
- An active voice chat and/or FC chat.
- An FC that is active during later hours. Due to work/school and school constraints two to all three of us might not be able to log on during the early hours of the day.
- PvP of some sort. It isn't an active pursuit but we're known to dabble from time to time.
- Roleplay friendly. As with PvP, we do not consider ourselves full time RPers, but this might change down the road.

I see no one has responded yet. If you're looking for a Free Company still, The Moogle Conspiracy (TMC) is always open to new friends. We're an LGBT friendly group of everything really. Some of us enjoy PvP, some of us enjoy crafting and/or gathering. All timezones are covered because we have players from Australia, US and Europe. There are a few of us that enjoy roleplaying but we have an RP LS and just bug some of our neighbours for RP lol.
We have a mumble, usually just give a shout that you're on it and the rest will follow.

From the sounds of it, you might just find my Free Company, Aetherial Reckoning, to be what you're after. We're a VERY tight knit FC and actively pronounce our style of middlecore gameplay: Have fun, nothing else matters, play the game at YOUR pace!


-We try to do various bits of PvE together. Some of our members are looking into various forms of making raiding groups.

-We're trying to get into using a TS server, but we've just started so it's not in use much jut yet. Game chat is very yappy most of the time though.

-I don't know your timezone, or what hours you really mean, but we frequently have members on in the later afternoon, usually until about 1 PM CST.

-You and your friends are Maelstrom, so you'd be able to jump into some FL battles with a lot of our members (somehow we're mostly Storm!). One of our members is trying to start a forum for a FL linkshell we frequent for FL fights to boost PvP moral.

-We're not RP, but we're very RP friendly, and if you talk PvP, Ragnheidur will yap on RP PvP moral boosts, cause he's that way!

If I see you are still not in an FC later, I may hunt you down personally to invite you and your friends.

I made a Free Company with my friend with several things in mind: community and having fun. If we're not having fun, we're doing something wrong. We've got other close friends too and we've also welcomed others who we RP with.


That said, we generally like all things about the game. A couple of us do SCOB end-game raiding. We help others if they need help leveling. One of the things we imagined in the future is being able to raid purely with friends 2-3 times a week for 2 hours each time. That said, it is also not a requirement to end-game raid with us. We also do RP as well as PVP. Unfortunately more of us are Immortal Flames so we may just instead be meeting you on the field :p

Most of us work and live in California while a few are east coasters. We even have people from Australian/New Zealand time zones.

We don't require anything from you in RP but it does generate a lot of good feels when the people you play with also RP with you in some way or form. You're free to ask here or shoot me a PM about us if you're curious.

The enjin site is currently a WIP but I've got the mumble for it and we generally speak... a lot. >.> In FC chat. You might get tired of us more than anything :p

If you're looking for some RP community, you might like <uldah> (as you could guess, we primarily RP aorund there).


Here's whay I can answer for the checklist:


- We are active in PvE content. A few of us raid, and a few members are in the process of playing through the main scenerio.
- While we're small, our FC chat is very active, and we have a hosted mumble server for use.
- We've got school/jobs as well! Half of us are in PDT, but we also have someone who is EDT and someone in Australia.
- A couple of the founders enjoy their PvP, they're Immortal Flames people
- We are RPers. While we also focus on playing the game, our plots are usually open and there will be times the FC house might have some smaller stuff going on. Balmung has a lot of open-world RP as well! :)

As for our respective timezones, two of us are PST and one is CST.

It's been a hectic week, we're going to take a day or two to decide.
