Please register promotional code for ps3>ps4 upgrade

I need help! I bought a ps4 the other day and today I upgraded to the ps4 version of xiv. I got the promotional code and it downloaded the game fine. Now when I launch the game on my ps4, it says "Cannot launch ffxiv. Register the promotional code" but it does not say where to register my code at. I've tried mogsation, playstation network, back to the psn store on my ps4. I have no idea what to do anymore. I've searched online and everything. Can anyone help?

Problem Resolved, I accidentally used my vita account instead of my ps3 account. I'm so stupid lol
