Wait Option When Dead

Twice now when dead I heard the raise sound effect and hit confirm (controller user) to get up, only to go back to the start of a dungeon/trial for hitting it too early. I like how when someone in a party teleports, the tele dialog box defaults on wait. Could there be a wait option so that we don't accidentally abandon fights?

This is possibly one of the most minor things I've ever come across.

Just be a little more patient, easy fix.

OP, there is a lot to be said for being patient. Just wait til you see the dialogue option pop up, it's not that difficult.

While it wouldn't be a bad idea for it to default to "wait" instead, this is certainly something that doesn't need to be addressed.

Tough battles require quick reactions and very rapid button presses. Waiting for the raise confirmation goes against that flow and can be disasterous when everyone is trying so hard to win. It's an easy enough thing to implement. But if not many people are having this issue then perhaps it is too minor. I figured it was worth a shot.

Tough battles also require self control. Pressing a button too early isn't saying you have "quick reactions", that's bad reactions. You don't press the button on leviathan ex too early and say it was "quick reactions" and blame the game.

I also use a controller and have done the same thing on a few occasions but the fault is mine. I usually have my hand on my mouse when I get KOed just to be safe.

This is not something that I, personally, have issues with. Therefore, I feel the need to let you know I have instructed Square Enix to deny your request as I deem it unimportant.

J/K I'm not one of those people who seem to feel the need to be needlessly contrarian about even the most harmless of quality of life improvement suggestions. It's as if someone insulted their Nonna's capicola.
