How exactly this works? Can it be use multiple times? Does it have a cooldown? Can you have more than one person link to it or change it from time to time?

I don't have one, so I'm just going off what I read. It looks like you can use it on anyone with the "New Adventurer" tag in your friend list. They'd be the ones with the little sprout icon next to their name.

What if...you're so cheapskate that you'd have your friend make 7 new characters and then have them all logged off in 7 different zones and then every time you want to teleport to any of those 7 zones, you'd make your friend log in to that character so you can teleport there for free?! Waste of you and your friend's time be damned! As long as you don't spend!

It works with ANYONE on your friends list that is new adventurer.
To answer someone elses question, yes they must be online.
Also it doesn't work like Eternity Ring, it doesn't teleport you on top of them. It teleports you to the Aetheryte in that zone, therefore the zone they're in must have an Aetheryte or it won't work.
