After much back and forth between support for SE and my ISP, and I have been unable to figure anything out. Only my main gets this error - and happens without fail.
I have tried:
Power cycling my router
Checked all ports, they are open and confirmed by my ISP
Tried on 2 different computers
Tried on 2 different WiFi's
Resetting computer
Resetting Router
Reinstalling FFXIV
I have been logging in every once in a while to try my main character for a while, to see if it was just clogged ports but I continue to get error 90k while loading my character.
Been trying to decide whether or not to resub but I guess I will have to if I want to play my main... lol
Error 90k only on one character?

Same here. Rolled a new character to test after I saw this thread. Chilled out in Limsa for a couple of hours, no problems. Hopped back on Isala... DC, DC, DC, wait for it... DC. Couldn't even stay on for more than a few minutes. Was pathetic.

I'm having the same issue. Can't do anything, keep getting error 90k all the time.

My boyfriend is experiencing the same issue. Balmung server. We are literally sitting right next to each other and I am having no issues... In the past 20ish minutes he has gotten the 90k error 4 times. His character is Jagath Extrieth.

Same issue, on ps4, every 30 min or so.
