Ixali Beastmen - Best Leveling Path

Since I have all other beastmen capped, I am only focusing on leveling the Ixali tribe at the moment. However the beastmen relation per quest and the fact that there are 7 levels instead of 4 make for an unusual leveling path. Where the other tribes had nice even numbers (roughly 10 days per level) the Ixali are all over the place. With one daily quest giving 50 relations can greatly alter the stretegy in the order you turn in quests to maximise your allowance while minimising point wastage when you hit the cap and have to do a story quest to level up.

Is what I have come up with. The days when you are about to hit cap are fairly important as the Deliverance quest can swing you one way ot the other and potentiall waste you points. I am not sure how much reputation you need to get from Respected to Honoured and from Honoured to Sworn (final). I am currently at Day 8, so 5 more days and we should see information on the next level.

Any thoughts/opinions?

pretty much the same with what I've done so far. How do you know there's 7 rank for Ixals anyways?

Well that and the achievements XD. I was puzzled when the final achievement said rank Sworn in stead of rank Trusted. And the pattern of names for each rank seems to follow the ones for GC affiliation for Free Companies.

I wonder why they departed from the 4 rank formula of the others. Was it cause they wanted more level up quests to progress the storyline?

I think it's a combo of so far it's very fast to rank up and two they had a larger story to tell so having the old amount of ranks wouldn't allow that.
I'm wondering what the oakroot or whatever they call, the ones rewarded from the top rank quests, what can you trade them for

I mathed out the probable costs for each Beasttribe level. The formula is:

Let {T1} be the first number in the Triangular series (where the difference between each number increases by one each time: 0, 1, 3, 6, 10, 15, 21...), {T2} the second, and so on, such that {Tn} = the nth number of the sequence.

Known values:
Rank 1-2 = 150 (150 = 3*10*(0+5) = 3*10*(0+({T2}+4))
Rank 2-3 = 360 (360 = 3*10*(5+7) = 3*10*(({T2}+4)+({T3}+4))
Rank 3-4 = 510 (510 = 3*10*(7+10) = 3*10*(({T3}+4)+({T4}+4))
Rank 4-5 = 720 (720 = 3*10*(10+14) = 3*10*(({T4}+4)+({T5}+4))

Calculated values:
Rank 5-6 = 990 (3*10*(({T5}+4)+({T6}+4)) = 3*10*(14+19) = 30*33 = 990)
Rank 6-7 = 1320 (3*10*(({T6}+4)+({T7}+4)) = 3*10*(19+25) = 30*44 = 1320)

At the same time, the amount of faction obtained by quests is confirmed to follow this same path:
Normal Beast Tribe:
Rank 1: 5 ({T2}+4)
Rank 2: 7 ({T3}+4)
Rank 3: 10 ({T4}+4)

Ixali:
Rank 1: 15 ({T2}+14)
Rank 2: 17 ({T3}+14)
Rank 3: 20 ({T4}+14)
Rank 4: 24 ({T5}+14)
Rank 5: 29 ({T6}+14)
Rank 6: 35 ({T7}+14)

If you want to use it as a tracker, simply copy it, and use the Done column with an x to mark when something is done. Be sure to delete my marks, and fiddle with the order of things if you aren't starting from zero.

Exactly. +3 Control, -3 CP. Not worth it, unless you haven't melded yet and are low on cash. At least getting them isn't so bad. When you hit max rank for Ixali (easiest tribe to level, massive crafter exp), you just have to do at most 10 more Beast Tribe quests. Now if only they were desynthable and gave Mastercraft, LTW would have a way of getting it...

Sorry to post in the thread, didn't really want to make a new one...lol but I just got "trusted" today, however...I can only purchase "Friendly" items, is the NPC bugged for anyone else or just me?
