WHM or SCH for you..?

Hi! Just curious to the healers out there, what job do you personally prefer, WHM or SCH, and why?

Myself, I found I'm over eager and will overheal the crap out of the party when on WHM, and tend to feel anxious about incoming damage more. So, WHM is just naturally not for me.

SCH, however, is very comfortable. I like my fairy, even micro managing, as back up. The Galvanizing is nice, I don't feel like I ever overheal, and Aetherflow is very user friendly for those sweet, sweet Lustrates.

I know I could probably be a better WHM with practice, and Xanax, but I so much enjoy my SCH main.

Opinions and feedback. Make it so.

WHM for sure. Managing the fairy just doesn't appeal to me. And I have some silly loyalty kind of thing to WHM since XI. I just feel uncomfortable on SCH.

It's weird, even though SCH has more things to control, I feel like I have less control on what goes on as far as who I heal.

I love healing on White Mage. :) I love the burst healing and the ability to stabilize near-wipe situations with our raw healing power. Though I do love Scholar's ability to quickly react to small mistakes (Lustrate), I still love my White Mage more.

I would have to say whm for me. Though I do like selene's buffs, my healing style is more suited to whm. I don't like having to micro manage the fairies. I tried several macros to try to make it's easier but they seemed slow to cast,if the whole macro even went through at all.

I play both in a lot of different content, and I'll say that I prefer White Mage for Primals and raiding, and Scholars for normal four-man instances. Scholars are great for having things such as Lustrate and their faerie to fall back on, but the overall utility and ability to adapt is what I enjoy more about White Mage.

I go WHM for trash content, and SCH for stuff that matters

I love pre shielding on my sch, it feels very satisfying. I also LOVE when I get a chance to dps on sch, as it's also a lot of fun, sadly doesn't happen v often tho.

SCH for me. I've started using my SCH a lot more than WHM lately and love Cleric Stance dancing. One thing I love about it is that I can use CS, then throw out my DoT's and use Bane to afflict the other mobs then go back to healing as needed.
Plus, I love seeing Adlo Crit :)

I prefer SCH to be honest. I started leveling both SCH and WHM around the same time to see which one I'd like to be a healer with for my raid group and SCH was much more prefered. Even though with WHM it's fun to have a buffed SS and Protect, not to mention Eye for an Eye and Regen on a tank lets you DPS for a while too.

But SCH? I LOVE the micromanagment of the fairy and how, in lot of regular content, Eos/Selene can heal and you can straight DPS. But the shields are also very satisfying, especially when your Adlo crits. And on big AoE moves, like the primals ultimates, popping Sacred Soil and a Succor (and usually on top of a WHM's Medica II) basically leads to almost no damage to the raid group.

They both have their advantages/perks but SCH > WHM in my book.

I'm a WHM at heart (Built WHM Animus while still sitting around with a NQ Omnilex) but I prefer SCH due to the diversity of tools it has at is disposal compared to WHM. I do love both equally though as healing is my passion in this game and swap healers frequently in non-coil scenarios.
