How Sending /tells should work
Many many moons ago, before the first stalwart crash test dummy's steeped foot onto the shores of la nocea. There was a Legend of being able to set a nickname for easy private communications between friends. How ever much like big foot, The loch ness monster and affordable and easy to obtain health care this method is still shrouded in the mists of lore and legend.
No one knows if it will come to pass or remain a old wives tale.
The nickname idea is put to rest with auto-fill tells. If you see some dude running in the background and u want to tell him something, but can't quite figure out how he spells his retarded name just before he runs out of view, this system is the best.
how is it trolling? I offered the best solution yet to SE's mistake of adding surnames.
I agree, very nice solution.
How it CURRENTLY works:

lmao thats kinda interesting
The problem is the huge server side programming to do it, first an autofill system would need to be made, and all character names would need to be stored on the server currently they are only connected to your character, and in cutscenes it uses a variable when a NPC mentions your name.
This system would require alot of work by SE, also if you want to send a tell to the person that ran past you, you type for example de "crap thats all i remember" and it still wouldnt work for that.
How the tell system should work is /sea all de, find the name, hit enter, select "send tell"
Heya!
Actually, there are more ways to give a tell to someone.
You can live with it, afterall.
- Just type /tell Belgian Rofl
- Receive a tell and type /tell Bel, press TAB and select Belgian Rofl
- Select a character, type /tell <t>
- Go to your friend list, select Belgian Rofl and select "Send a tell" or something
Ah! And don't forget that with CTRL+R you can answer to the last one who sent you a tell, and by keeping pressing CTRL+R you scroll who has /tell you.
Also, CTRL+T starts a tell to the last one you /tell'd. Keeping pressing CTRL+T and you'll cycle the targets you have whispered.
See ya!
like guy above said. your auto trans dictionary keeps track of who you've sent tells to lol...
just type the first 3 letters of their name and hit tab :x
so... /t Bel<tab><enter> <message>
