Putting half of your points into INT and half into MIND? Putting everything into INT anyways even when you which to Scholar?
I'm a sucker for pet classes and I would ideally like to play SCH and SMN, I was wondering if anyone found a way to play both these classes viably without wrong attribute points hindering you and using 10k seals everytime you wanna switch.
short answer is no.
Honestly though you could split the difference and in the grand scheme of things it won't be HUGE difference. DPS and stat allocation is important but what makes or breaks a battle in this game nine times out of ten is your understanding of mechanics and your ability to dodge stuff and it is not your dps output.
30 INT, missing out on 30 MND doesn't hurt nearly as much for SCH as missing 30 INT does for SMN, or even 15 if you do an even split.

It should cost less than 5k seals to switch these points, seriously.
Except with a parser, a geared and skilled Arcanist could put 30 points in STR and play SMN/SCH without anyone noticing.
I ended up putting 10 into INT, 10 into MND, and 10 into PIE. I debated putting everything into PIE just to counteract the almost obnoxiously heavy reliance on Mage Ballad in the endgame that few bards ever actually use.
If I remember correctly they said something about fixing that in the expansion.

it kinda seems like an easy fix imo, but I know nothing about how any of this works...but
it does kinda seem easy enough to fix now, rather than an expansion.
Oh well, I'm still waiting on the Chocobo to NPC thing.
They should just give scholar a line of INT gear and bada-boom, problem fixed (bandaged). I don't know why Square creates these problems for itself. SMN and Scholar sharing the same base class. Maintaining a tank, healer and dps trinity so there is no chance of seeing RDM. Why Square, why?
