Free Company Alliance (issues with fc housing and recruitment)

Hi all, would like to hear others thoughts on how recruitment and fc mergers are affected by FC housing and personal rooming.

It seems to me that it is almost impossible to pull of an fc merge, because big and small fcs have so much invested into housing. Why would they give it up ?

This goes for recruitment as well, its hard to pull people out of a smaller fc that have already time invested into a personal room, ect.

I think an FC alliance ability would solve some of these issues. And allow some small FC's to band together for raiding ect. Im not sure on the logistics of such an implementation, but would like to hear others thoughts and ideas on this.

I believe SE had in the past mentioned something along these lines as a possible future edition.
