CTD after entering instanced location (The Sea Rises)

[Solved] Uninstalled/reinstalled, problem fixed.

Hello,

I am currently encountering the following issue: during the quest "The Sea Rises", I entered the Command Room in Limsa Lominsa. As I clicked the NPC to enter the room and agreed to enter, I got an instant quit to desktop with the message

"FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn has
stopped working

A problem caused the program..." etc.

The event viewer has the EventID 1000 on this and all subsequent crashes.

After this, every time I get to my character screen and log in with my character, the loading screen for Limsa Lominsa is displayed for a few seconds then the game crashes.
I tried changing my resolution/graphic settings to no result.
I tried rebooting my computer to no result.
Trying to log on with a different character on a different world (Primal instead of Cerberus), my character on there loaded fine and I could play without any crashes.
Prior to this issue I was chaining Thornmarch Hard all morning without any problems.

I can only infer that this problem is related to something concerning the area I tried to enter. So far I tried restarting the game several times, waiting several minutes/restarting the computer between each attempt with no success.

I have noticed on my character screen prior to entering the game proper that the game considers I am already in the command room. Do you think there is a way to ask official support to get my character out of there? It would not solve the issue per se, but at least I would be able to turn to the other content instead of being stuck forever.
