The game won't launch after you start it from the PS4 dashboard. Nothing happens, it just stays at a black screen forever. When you press the PS button to get back to that dashboard from your current game, it says it's staring with the status next to it cycling like it's trying to launch the game.
Can anyone help me out here please? I don't know what to do or what's happening here...
PSN is being attacked by a group of young, virgin kiddies who like to DDOS Servers. Not really hacking tho. Just have patience
Playstation Network is currently offline. The FFXIV launcher needs you to be connected to the Playstation Network in order to work properly, hence the black screen. Sadly you can't do anything to fix this except wait (I'm in the same predicament now.. reinstalling FFXIV on my laptop just so I can play on my day off!) It's been rumored that a group of hackers have taken down PSN for fun, although this can't really be confirmed until Sony talks about it :(
I'm glad I'm not the only one with that issue...
It did happen to me as well. I thought it might have been my data, so I tried to open Fez... stuck on auto-save at the loading screen and after 5 minutes I have the "You are not connected to Playstation Network. The following features won't be available... blah blah blah" Towerfall Ascension seems to work though...
Teriffic... Sounds like a bunch of kids got bored on a Sunday...
