Dragoon Rotations in 2.3
So i'm thinking of picking my Dragoon back up and Haven't played it since 2.0
I know it's basically just priority rotation keeping Heavy thrust up, Disembowel/Chaos Thrust and Phlebotomize.
But I would love to see a mapped out opener at least, to help me get my head straight, because just switching back to this job and seeing allll those abilities is hurting my head.
Thanks anyone who can help :)
Also if you have any tips that may help me be a better Dragoon like stat priority or something that would be nice too.

Opener:
Heavy Thrust > Impulse Drive > Disembowel > Chaos Thrust > Phlebotomize > True Thrust > Vorpal Thrust > Full Thrust
With off GCDs your opener would look something like this:
Heavy Thrust >Internal Release> Impulse Drive >Blood for Blood> Disembowel >Leg Sweep> Chaos Thrust >Power Surge> Phlebotomize >Jump> True Thrust >Spine Shatter Dive> Vorpal Thrust >Life Surge> Full Thrust >Dragonfire Dive
(exlude Leg Sweep, Spineshatter Dive, Dragonfire Dive if needed for gap closing or AOEing or to not dimish the returns of stun)
Stat priority would be WD>Str>Det>Crit>SkS
Make sure to check out the DRG rotation reborn thread for a more in depth explanation.

This is the thread mentioned by ChaozK. While it doesn't seem to have been updated for 2.3, the main posts still seem accurate and there's a plethora of discussion to read over almost 350 pages. If you have any Dragoon questions this is probably the #1 place to look.

Dragoon priority basically hasn't changed since 2.0, however, the animation time on the various Jump skills has become faster, making them easier to weave for more DPS and harder to kill yourself with (though still unsafe during certain parts of boss rotations), so you will be looking to include those more often when safe. As others have mentioned, the Rotation Reborn thread linked above is incredibly useful if you like playing with numbers or want to brush up.
