Two people in our FC, quite new to the game but very much enjoying it, are moving from the UK to Australia shortly. Having registered for a free trial period while in the UK, they listed their country as the UK, obviously. Now they are moving, they are concerned that they will not be able to make subscription payments from their Australian bank. Does anyone know what the process is to cover people moving country?
They should be fine, as long as they register a valid payment method for the game here in Australia then there shouldn't be any problems - Australian players are billed in Euros by the Mogstation if you're using a credit card/debit card for billing, because as far as the Mogstation/SE Account Management System is concerned, Australia is considered part of 'UK/Europe/Rest of World' for billing purposes.
UK and Aus both use EU accounts, so as long as there's an australian payment like enkidoh said it should be fine. My husband moved from US to Aus and managed to switch it over just fine.
They will sell you a subscription here just fine, it's the latency that will kill you.
