Griefing with an emote

I just read an interesting post on Facebook.

It seems SE has an issue with people dancing on corpses and gives warnings to people who do.

I didn't know I was suppose to be courteous to my opponents who beat me with weapons and such.

Is this really a bad thing?

It's called poor sportsmanship. If you flaunted a victory in the face of your enemies in any major sports league, you are also punished. It's no different in a game. People need to learn to be more humble.

This isn't a sport, this is PvP, you don't knock out people in a major sport league.

You're not killing anyone, you're knocking them out. It's no different than a boxing match. When they allow dancing over the bodies of their opponents in boxing, wrestling, MMA, etc, then I will sympathize with your cause.

Sorry, you are wrong. No one is dead in the Frontline, you are knock out and port back to base by the spell. Go check your combat log.

No offence, but can I have the sorce before I take you seriously? I checked all jp forums, and 2ch, but found nothing.......

Some factions deserve that sort of abuse. On my data center the Maelstrom act like they are king of the world. Is it really that bad people want to celebrate taking someone as powerful as the Maelstrom down.

PvP is an aggressive environment, if you cant handle something as minor as tea-bagging, then you shouldn't participate.

Yes it is. FFXIV PvP is an amateur e-sport. Killing virtual avatars is different than killing real opponents. PvP is similar in style to Laser Tag or Paintball as sport activities.

... this thread is getting better and better. next people will be saying FFXIV is like the NFL

There is a FB group called FFXIV: ARR Players Group.

It's the one about someone complaining about atma grinding and the game having nothing to do at 50 once you gear up.

Someone commented on pvp being fun, someone responded by saying a GM contacted them about tea-bagging.

And im sorry for not using KO instead of killing, sorry for being human.
