add swimming and climbing please also add places we can unlock by only jumping

i didn't see a thread like this in the suggestions so i decided to make my own i wanted to know if the devs could make a feature that allows swimming and underwater battles as well as new underwater content i also would love the ability to climb things and be able to unlock things by jumping i think those options would be awesome right now jumping is kind of useless even if it is kinda fun jumping to new areas like the houses i just want to see some practical use put into it

Jump quests are terrible. Please no.

Underwater battles are also a huge endeavor, I know I'll get flak for this but lets look at WoW. It took WoW three expansions to get underwater combat kinda right.

In Underwater Battles you are no longer fighting on a flat 2D plan, you now have three dimensions to work with. Theres already latency issues and other things with people on flat ground, I can only imagine what avoiding AoE's and other things would be like under water.

I believe the engine used is capable of spherical AOEs as it is. Flight is coming first from what I understand OP, they were deciding on swimming or flight, and went with flight.

that kind of sucks sure it would be interesting to fly and i hope that makes a interesting update but i think swimming would be even more fun and you could use botany to harvest under water plants and swim to find under water caverns i was wondering how do you think they decided on flying

I don't know why they chose flying... but I think they wanted to implement flying mounts as well as airship crafting in 3.0, hence flight. Yoshida also said that some bosses may require the use of flying mounts. I have a feeling the flight system will be akin to either Grandia III, Mabinogi, Perfect World International. Since they want to do battle on flying mounts.
