Odd how it's got a bit of the same melody from the Coerthas field theme. There's no thematic connection, so maybe Soken just liked that one.

There is not really something from Coerthas in it. The melody is also from Uematsu.
It is a remix of the 1.0 battlemusic for instanced dungeons (The Dark's Kiss).
You can also hear the original in some HM dungeons.
