Star symbol next to achievements

For a while now, I've been wondering what the stars next to some achievements mean. I've gathered that the chest rewards an item and medals a title, which are my favorite things to earn, but the star one just seems random to me. :confused:

Would someone explain to me what it signifies?

Achievements that were also available in 1.0, with any progress made on them in 1.0 carrying over to ARR.
