Chat Log, 2 windows? Why?

Okay, I can't believe that some genius even dreamed up the concept of having two separate chat log windows in the first place. Just what we need, another object on the screen to manage!? NOT

Please, it should be a simpe matter, put all of the tabs on one window and lose the second window. If you can't figure out how to do it, have a look at your code in FFXI as that chat log is perfect! Everything about it.

Sometimes, playing this game is torture. Please help to make it more friendly.

Oh god i agree why can't we have the chat log from FFXI it was so easy to switch from chat even on controller or keyboard i hope SE can add this to ffxiv.

I love the layout and chat for ffxi so much becuase i play it for so long i even have my UI for ffxiv like it.

I can't make it 100% like ffxi due to the limit set for ffxiv. But i hope SE could make a ffxi UI for FFXIV even our spell being into a list not a hotbar not all of us like the WoW type hotbar.

or if not allow players to come up with there own seeing how yoshi-p did say they may allow us to add "Addon" for ffxiv but only for UI or something like that.

The second chat log window was added to tide us over until they resolve problems with the UI that prevent the log windows having more than two tabs at a time. Back at launch, we only had the one, and two tabs only within it. Supposedly more tabs per log window is another feature of the UI overhaul they're working on.

Besides, it's optional, and I get a damn lot of use out of it myself. 'Let's me keep track of LS and /Say or /Party without having to keep faffing about with tabs or pick them out from each other in a single frame. I'd be pretty annoyed if they pull the second window when they fix the problem that necessitated implementing it in the first place, frankly, even if I do look forward to having more than two tabs in each of them.

Turn the second window off Lol.

I think i know that lol am just saying how hard was to make one like FFXI. It seem they try to make ffxiv noting like ffxiv that they did more of a bad job then good.

i know they remaking everything we just talking about it. You know like how everyone talk about Auto attack and they got it? the more players talk about it the more SE would see that what they want more.
