I'm level 50 on all crafting classes. Just confirmed that neither HQ nor High Demand (starred) items have any effect on quota points received.
Can anyone confirm/deny whether they affect experience rewards?

Was wondering the same thing. Thanks for the thread OP
Seems 10 per turn in no matter what for rank 1, will see if rank 2 is any different today when I get home :x
I have experienced the same thing. Spent the time making sure everything was high quality to find that there was no bonus. Oh well, makes it easier quick synth here I go :)
You get double xp for HQ. I'm fairly sure you get more xp if it is in demand as well.
Also: Once you get to rank 2, you need 120 quota points to complete the quest. You also unlock a second tier of items to turn in. This tier seems to consist of items with a recipe level from 11 to 20, and they give 40 quota points each.
HQ turn-ins give you double experience, but the same quota.
so basically if you are level 50 then no point in HQ! Could have given something like extra gil, GC seals etc for those of us at 50. Oh well.
On my first quest, I crafted all the items he looked for in HQ..boy was I surprised that I was done after only submitting 3 items lol. I maybe should read more quest texts. I have just started with the 2nd level of their quests and now I need 120 points to complete the supply missions. But nothing has changed since one item now grants 40 points so it is still 3 items = done. And still no HQ needed or providing benefits, although I always do them in HQ because I need only one move for it thanks to the low level receipies. Also there is an ingame achievement for the DOH that requires a lot of HQ crafting so it's an easy way to boost it.
The point is, if your craft class is low level, you can still do the delivery if you do 12 low level (12 * 10 contribution) but if you can, it's faster to do 3 mid level delivery (3 * 40 contribution)
On other hand, I agree they could give gil or seals for us "omni crafter" with all craft at 50 >__<
I think this whole Ixali beast tribe quests were geared to crafting to get more people to do it. I mean, I didn't even touch Fisher and now my Fisher is at level 10 (yeah I know, still low). And my Weaver was only level 20, but now I'll hit level 30 tonight. It's great and my interest is piqued. So, good job SE.
