Suggestion: Unspoiled Nodes

Hello, new level 50 Botanist here! So far, i have been trying to get the fragrant log XD im not fully melded but do have the hat from fishing, and melded accessories, I find that I have to use food due to the 370 gathering requirement, but a lot of times i forget to use the food and click the node. I realise this is 100% my fault, and most other players don't have this problem, but is it possible to have the node NOT go away after you click it and then exit out of the gathering attempts? I don't even have to use actions or anything, just simply entering into the gathering window is enough for the node to be like "Okay, heres your one time opportunity for the hour, hope you used food sucker!" >.> As I stated before I realize other players may not have any issue with this, but I have a slight memory "problem" and was just wondering if this is at all possible to address?

I find that annoying too, I've clicked on it with low CP, can't unclick to use cordial. Doesn't make sense. I understand they dont want people being able to back out part way through to gain more CP before they continue but it would be ok to be able to backout before using an action.
