Dev Response Please - ilv90 Conversion Change
I'm asking a dev to reply in this thread. Please explain to me since I'm having a hard time understanding why it is that "You People" feel like there was a need to change the conversion rate for Materia IV's from ilv90 gear.
- The conversion rate for ilv55 Gear to Materia IV's is low (which seems right since its ilv55)
- The materials needed to make ilv70 spirit bonding sets cost about 130,000 company seals I think (The jump in materials is a bit of a kick in the nutsack imo, and not worth the time)
That leaves us with crafted ilv90 sets to spirit bond with, since you a$@hats wont let us convert dungeon gear.
THE PAYOFF TO MAKING iLV90 GEAR AND GETTING A GROUP TO BOND IT IN COIL "WAS" THAT IT ALWAYS GAVE MATERIA IV'S.
If we didn't get something we needed, no problem, we could transmute them and have a second chance. Well now we only have a 1/18 chance it will be a IV and a whopping 1/36 chance it will be one of the IV's we need.
I have now bonded 2 full (11 piece) sets. First set 7 were III's, 4 were IV's and only 1 was a materia I could use. The second set yielded 8 III's, 3 IV's and none were useful. I just cant understand why this needed to be touched. I need a reason from someone at square, not another player. As someone trying to grind out materia for my weapon I'm pretty upset.
08/20/2014 - Uploaded a Video of a before and after. The batch I did just now had a decent turn out but its still shit compared to what it was before for IV's
