Materia Market

did any other server materia cost drop drastically? before, Savage Might II was selling for 20k+, and checked today, they down to 5k. havent checked IV, but they may be down(or up because of the new limitations)

Many have said Determination 4 almost doubled in price because of how difficult it is to get tier 4 materia now.

You can track where most of the server is on Novus by which materia cost what.

On your server, people have gotten past tier 2 and are at 3-4, so the price has normalized. Tier 4, however, will likely only get worse, now that i70+ are not guaranteed to drop 4s, and you can no longer spirit bond lower level accessories while doing daily dungeons.

Savage Might (Determination) IV is roughly 1 million gil each on Cactuar. Others aren't as high, but that one is getting out of hand.

yea, checked on savage might IV and it just went insane. time to try my luck with sb and hope prices slowly tank.

Savage Aim and Might IVs on Midgard are actually cheaper now than they were before the patch. Especially the Mights. Before the patch the Might IVs were selling for 600k+ now they're between 300k and 400k. THey did spike upwards of a million the first two days after the patch though. Still pricing me out of my Novus though >.< At the rate I'm going I won't see my Novus finished until 2.4. SBing is useless to me with our materia market because I can't make my own SB gear. Any materia that isn't Might or Aim IV (Tier IV anyways) is barely selling for the cost of the gear it was converted from and some are selling at a loss if you buy the gear off the MB to bond with.

On Odin a very similar trend can be seen. The Materia IV's appear to be slowly dropping in price. More and more people completing their Novus probably plays a bigger part in this than the change of spiritbonding though I think.
