Axe in the Stone Quest
I have tried the Axe in the Stone Quest several different times.
I get to the area. The stones are sparkling. I highlight them and then I cannot hit them with my Axe.
I later give up this quest. I then go get it again And, I have the same results. I have been trying it for three days. And I am currently Level 9...almost 10.
I am in the Famfrit world. I am a Marauder. I play on a ps3 system.
I am brand new to the game...like Friday night. And, I love it, except for this one issue;
I emailed someone foe some help and was told that they couldn't help me to just go to the Forums with this.
I really need to do this quest so that I can accomplish more things.
Please HELP!!!!
Thank you,
Etta (Rowan Kara)

In-game time: I have no idea...maybe 15-20-hours
Area and coordinates: I din't know this either. In Sumerford area.
Steps:
1. Talk to Marauders Guild...get quests
2. Go to Sumerford area. Talk to another NPC.
3. Stones sparkle. Highlight them and then hit them to break them apart. I can see the three stones sparkle. Even highlight them. I just CANNOT HIT THEM!! My character stays there and does nothing when I try and complete the action.

For the quest all you have to do is use Heavy Swing on them.
Target one, use Heavy Swing (just like you would on any regular enemy).
If it doesn't register try moving a bit closer/further, but just hitting them with that move should do the trick.
I don't know whether this is what you tried?

Ms. Alice,
Thank you very much for your help here. I have tried that, repeatedly. Esp since I am new to the game, I just figured that I was doing it wrong. I tried it again, after reading what you just wrote, and I still can't get it to work. Very, very frustrating. Thank you though!!
