Spiritbond changes in 2.35

I can understand the changes to spiritbond that they implemented in regards to doing dungeons in DF and party/alliance sort of content, but is this going to affect me if I'm just solo-ing mobs and/or FATEs up in North Than (for example) and have a bunch of lowbie junk on to SB ? Don't see why it should affect stuff like that.

Their example didn't really shed all that much light on it.

I'm hoping the real world and dungeons are not changed. I get 35% of my i48-49 stuff done in the expert dungeons and finish them off by doing dailies.

Will have to see how this affects lvl 45-50 gear at Urths Gift. If its too dramatic, materia prices may go up even higher than they already are ;_;

This is a good point your not impacting anyone else game while in the open world. Also all this is really going to do is force the already high price for materia up even higher.

Spiritbinding Level 45-50 gear on Level 47-49 enemies should be right on target and unchanged, or even actually increased.

I'd think that would be fine, since Urth's Gift has mobs of the same level.

Shouldn't affect Urth's Gift as the monsters there are close enough to the level of the gear you say you're SBing. As for FATEs...you'll just have to seek out FATEs that match the level of the gear you're Bonding. Best thing to do would be to deck out your right side in i70 jewellery and spam Coil 1 (Turn 3 anyone?) or even Syrcus Tower or the higher 4-man dungeons. Now if the made LoA gear Convertible you could SB in FL without nerfing yourself lol

Dungeons are definitely affected since people going into high level dungeons w/ i48-49 was stated as one of the reasons for the change.

...or even lose durability for that matter.
